Will not connect to system via wifi since update. Worked flawless before, I even emailed tech support over a week ago and still received no help from Swann. Do not update and do not buy swann products. Very poor customer support.

Was working really great before the update. Doesnt work anymore now. Swann pls fix this! :(((

Not made easy as Swann claims. Tried each of swanns aps and cant get any to get past "Buffering - Failed to Connect" Actually we can only access the cameras from hard wired computers, none of the wireless computers will connect. Very frustrating and a waste of time. Keep trying Swann, maybe someday youll figure out how to make the aps work.

the app needs an update, i can not see my cameras working on my phone, i can only see at home on the monitor

Don’t believe the user manual or the box. This is a tough unit to setup if you want to watch the cameras remotely. The app is terrible and watching from the web isn’t very easy either. I was attracted to the price at Sam’s club, but I wish I would have paid more for a better system.

Ive called the 800 number and if you follow the phone tree they end up hanging up on you. Im a customer in the US. We got this system from WOOT almost a year ago. It took forever to get the iPhone app to connect via 3G and 4G. but once it was working it was fabulous and we used all the time on iPhone and iPad. now with the app upgrades everything seems to have failed. 800 support is not reachable. the iPhone manual on their website is from a year ago. Very disappointed. If i get it working ill be sure to post the solution. good luck. nice app if you can get it going.

Works great. Finding which port # to input drove me crazy. Figure out that and your golden.

Technically, the app works. It took forever to get the setting right to be able to view on my phone, and then, when I got it working, the picture is really choppy and delayed about 3-5 seconds. It makes it tough because I wanted to use this app for my business so I could watch for shoplifters without standing in front of a desk. Oh well, back to the screen for now. Maybe in the future Swann will put out a better app.

Most complaints probably due to configuring the settings. I had it working on my older Samsung Galaxy SII n runs much faster on the iPhone 5s. Swannview is for cell access and Swannview Pro is for WiFi access. If video is choppy it us your ISP or cell and not the app!

The system stopped working on the iPhone after an update. Never was able to get the alerts to the email to work properly or if working, timely. Time to get a different camera security system.

The app is unworthy!!! If you are getting cameras installed with the hope of viewing live footage on your iPhone or iPad good luck. It probably works 20% of the time. Cameras are great app is junk!!

I know what Im doing and wasted 30 minutes on this. Its not going to work.

Great app! Allows remote access to your cams. You can record and take snapshots.

Cant go past the "Failed To Connect". I always type in the right thing and it wont stop. Its a bad app and I was told it was good. Very disappointed. If you email them theyre very fast and supportive. But the app is very bad and I probably wont recommend it.

Shouldve bought a Samsung.. App is worthless if youre away from a strong wifi source. And viewing on the ipad.. Forget it!

Why make an app when it doesnt work it suppose to do!

I would give it no stars if I could. The videos would always buffer and never load. Do not listen to the reviews that state it is your service provider. That is all BS. Even tried the wifi app and it had the same problem. There is a reason why they even removed the support page from their website. They should just remove it all together and keep all of us newbees from downloading it and thinking it may work.

Some apps just work with minimal effort, Nest for example. This one is very finicky with settings. I love it when it works, but replaced my router and wasted hours trying to see my cameras and couldnt. Surprisingly when I checked it away from home with cell service it works, which is really what I need. Changing rating to 4 stars.

Take a second and read, it will help most of the negatives I have read. 1) There are different apps per system, Make sure you have the right one down loaded. 2) Speed of download is one of the biggest problems I have read here as it is a simple solution. Tap Home Tap Recording (You will see the TAB) Encode Camera: tap it choose the camera you want to work with. HERE IS the best part, ENCODING PARAMETERS Change it to SUB STREAM You will be very happy you did something so simple, as this function will speed up the signal to your mobile device!!!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ONE LAST THING, I made them aware there is a calling in problem as I was having the same issues as most of the people trying to contact them. Swann, is a winner!!!
